DPF Regeneration is used to clear PM (Particulate Matter) from the DPF filter through continuous combustion oxidation mode (such us high temperature heating conbustion, fuel additive or catalyst reduce PM ignition conbustion) to stabilize the filter perfornance. Avoid costly replacement of the filters. Lower Overall Maintenance Costs.

DPF regeneration may be performed in the following cases:
(a) The exhaust back pressure sensor is replaced.
(b) The PM trap is removed or replaced.
(c) The fuel additive nozzle is removed or replaced.
(d) The cataytic oxidizer is removed or replaced.
(e) The DPF regeneration MIL is on and maintenance is performed.
(f) The DPF regeneration control module is replaced.
Operate Notice
For DPF regen, Generally to successfully perform the DPF regeneration, pls kindly meet these demands
1, Pls make sure the engine does not have trouble codes or other phisical malfunctions, if has, pls repair it firstly;
2, Engine running at idle speed, and water temperature should be higher than 80 Celse Degree.
3, Coolant temperature is higher than 60″C Degree; Fuel temperature is lower than 70″C degree;
4, The DPF soot level is higher than 80% full; Need to be regen.

Q: Will this hd scanner work on my trucks?
A: This heavy duty scan tool will work on J1939 and J1708 protocol 24v American heavy duty trucks . Note: The diesel OBD part can not work on 12v pickup, Light truck and other 12v vehicles. If you can not confirm, please let us know the engine type for confirmation.
Q: Will the Full Systems Diagnosis Work on 12v vehicles?
A: Sorry, only the OBD2 functions in “OBD-II” part can work on 12v vehicles. Warm Tips: Please choose the correct diagnostic menu, or the over-voltage will damage the heavy duty scanner.
Q: Why the OBD port of the heavy duty scan tool can not fit for my truck?
A: Equipped with 16pin, 9pin & 6pin for your trucks, please check your OBD port before connecting.
Q: What are Pre-scan and Post-scan Report?
Pre/Post Scan reports, which are mandated by vehicle manufacturers and insurance companies for pre-crash and post-crash work.
This report shows the state of the vehicle before the repair; in addition, after the vehicle repair is completed, the vehicle is scanned to confirm that the repair work has been completed correctly
Q: What is the function of Pre/Post Scan Report?
With the Pre-scan report, the repair shop can show the customer what is wrong with the vehicle. The completion of the repair work can be confirmed to the customer through the Post Scan report.
A copy of the report can be provided to the customer, insurance company, or repair shop for archival purposes.
The Pre/Post Scan report has a fixed format, and the customer can save it as a DPF document and print it in the office.
Q: How to get Pre/Post Scan Report
1. Take Nissan as an example, select Auto Scan.
2. After scanning, fill in the vehicle information in the Pre-scan report and press OK to save.
